Data Deletion Instructions
Last updated: August 2, 2026
1. What We Store When You Connect a Social Account
We do not store your Facebook, Instagram, or other platform login credentials (your password) on our servers. When you connect an account, the platform's own login screen issues us a limited, encrypted access token via OAuth, scoped only to the permissions needed to publish content and retrieve basic analytics on your behalf. We also store the account's basic profile information (such as its name and ID) so it can be shown and selected within Auto Presence AI.
2. Removing a Single Connected Account
You can remove a connected account in either of these ways:
Option A — From within Auto Presence AI
- Sign in to your Auto Presence AI account
- Go to the Connect page in your dashboard
- Find the account you want to remove and click Disconnect
This immediately deletes the stored access token and stops any further posting to or retrieval of data from that account.
Option B — Directly from Facebook or Instagram
- Go to your Facebook account's Settings & Privacy
- Open Settings, then Apps and Websites
- Find Auto Presence AI in your list of connected apps
- Select it and click Remove
Removing the app this way revokes its access on Facebook's side. We recommend also disconnecting it from within Auto Presence AI (Option A) so your account correctly reflects that it's no longer connected.
3. Deleting Your Entire Account & Data
To permanently delete your Auto Presence AI account and all associated data (including any connected social account tokens, generated content, and workspace data):
- Sign in to your Auto Presence AI account
- Go to Settings, then the Danger Zone section
- Click Delete My Account and confirm
If you're unable to sign in, email support@autopresenceai.com from the address associated with your account and we will process the deletion manually.
4. What Happens After You Request Deletion
We delete or anonymize your personal data within a commercially reasonable period after a confirmed deletion request, except where we're required to retain certain records for legal, tax, billing dispute, or fraud-prevention purposes — consistent with the retention terms in our Privacy Policy. Content already published to a social platform on your behalf before disconnection is not retroactively removed from that platform — you'll need to delete it there directly if needed.
5. Questions
